Use platforms to avoid the hole...Get the highscore!

Avoid landing in the hole by drawing platforms and catching the ball. Break the blocks that spawn in to get points! 

You can have two platforms on screen at one time, and they will max out at a certain length. 
Hitting the ball with a drawn platform will give 5 points. There are three block sizes, 10, 50 and 100 points. Breaking mulitple blocks before hitting the floor or a platform will earn a combo, use this to get a big score!

Other than just breaking blocks, you can earn points by building up and maintaining a highspeed!
Or you can juggle the ball by avoiding hitting the walls, floor and blocks!

Keep track of your stats in the main menu. Beat your friends highscores!

Controls:

Browser:
Click and Drag - Do this anywhere on the screen to draw platforms.
Click on the ball - Use this to catch this ball. Click again to throw it.

Android:
Tap and Drag - Do this anywhere on the screen to draw platforms.
Tap on the ball - Use this to catch this ball. Tap again to throw it.

This is great art style. Loved monochrome particles. Game is fun but I can spam lines which is a bit let down.

Thanks for playing man! glad you had some fun, working on changing the difficulty at the momement. Thought i had it figured out but i found some bugs after uploading it aha..
But try it out again if you'd like! Let me know what you think of the changes Fodi helped me out with. Like i said its buggy, but the idea is there i think..!

I love the retro LCD look and the controls and sounds are great!

I did find the game a little too easy, after about a minute I just figured I should draw a bunch of horizontal lines in the lower half of the field so the ball won't even come close to the hole:

Maybe there should be a limited number of coexisting platforms?

Also I've noticed one small bug: I can still hear the ball bouncing on the game over screen.

You're totally right, I need to limit the amount of platforms you can draw. I was thinking on limiting the length of the lines drawn as well. To stop full screen platforms.

What do you think would better for getting platforms back?:

- After hitting a platform, you get one back.

- After destroying a block, you get one back.

- Catching the ball..

- scoring X amount of points?..

You're very welcome. I'd probably go with the first version (hit a platform, get one platform back) or maybe introduce a pixel "currency", where you have N pixels you can use to draw more small platforms but fewer big ones. Come to think of it, maybe simply limiting platform size could suffice as well. Destroying blocks could also raise the platform limit (either permanently or temporarily).. not sure, it's best to playtest it :) which I'd love to do if you make updates!

So i uploaded a new version, its pretty buggy though. I thought i had it figured out in the editor but after playing the build in browser, there are some pretty major bugs.

The core idea for limiting platforms on screen and length is there, so i guess give it try if you can and let me know.

Just need to fix some stuff, somtimes it just lets you place as many at any length, somtimes none at all. Ill try get it fixed asap, thanks for you help dude!

Yep, this is definitely more challenging, although partially because of the bugs :) I'm not sure what could be the issue, sometimes I was only able to draw very small platforms, sometimes I could draw really long ones as well. I'll be back for the next update though!
